You are weeding too many books and magazines out of your library; Chicago Checkbook was a good source of services for handymen and other businesslike contractors for plumbing, HVAC, and other technical services. The older volumes were very useful for finding help. Not everyone closes their shops in a few years. Think about that next time when you throw things away.

* HISPANIC IS NOT A GREAT CULTURE! * How many Hispanic we have in Schaumburg area? As I know, Schaumburg was German Town. We have a sister city in Japan. Why you have so many display in Spanish? What do you try to teach these young generation? This is international city. I don’t like to see Hispanic language in public. And I believe many people don’t agree with Hispanic. PLEASE DO NOT SHOW HISPANIC ON SHELF. THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT.

This is a request from a parent and a group of other parents too. As kids are getting closer to COGAT exams, the resources (books) are very limited and kids are struggling to find ways of getting resources. I kindly request you to provide more variety/series of COGAT (Grade 5) for this year 2026-2027. It would be great if we get them by October or November. Thank you.

You should make another tween space upstairs and it should be for 4-12 grades, it should also have popsicle sticks, yarn, bracelet stuff, and the rest you can 163 choose, but I think this is a great idea because it would be nice to not have a crowd in the other tween space. People would love it there!

I think you guys should make a reading program every season, and the prizes should be like fidgets, like needo type squishys or very popular squishys, clicker fidsgets, or fidgets that are very popular. You should keep thos prizes because it’s going to make more students get interested.

Really appreciate it if you guys move kids programs (3-5y) to the evening. Not all parents afford a Nanny and many work in morning. Thanks! (HP Branch)

The librarians are so nice and helpful, and they have a wide variety of selections, a lot of study spaces including private rooms. One of the best libraries I have been to. 10/10.

Thanks for adding non-screen options to the teen programs! YAY! Book clubs and Spanish conversation are great ideas, but any chance of adding some at the later times? Most people work and don’t have the opportunities to attend in a.m. (non-fiction book discussion and Spanish conversations).

am a job search coach and I work with execs that have been downsized from their companies. I share 6-8 documents during our video sessions. I am suddenly required to change from Zoom to Teams and I could not figure out how to execute the invite, nor how to share the documents fluidly via Teams. I met with Jacob Moorehouse today and it was a great experience. He was very patient and walked me through the process step-bystep. He let me practice with him, as well. He was also willing to spend more than the allotted half hour so that I felt confident with the process. I have taken many of your tech classes and they are all very good. This is the first time I’ve worked one-on-one with one of your techs. Jacob really did a great job giving me the confidence to make this change to Teams. You have a really great employee – kind and patient.

I’m currently wondering what exists specific to (resources, programming, materials, etc.) dyslexics. I feel like reading materials, multi-sensory Orton-Gillingham events, support groups, etc. Specific to dyslexics would be perfect at our library. Even just dyslexic awareness events. I appreciate your consideration. Thank you.

Although having a sensory bag in the library is a very good choice, it will be great if it included some sensory toys for autistic kids and if we could check out to entertain them at home.

I find that the Kajeet HotSpots have been unreliable. They turn on and charge fine, but the internet connection rarely works - “No internet connection.” The staff at the service desk were very helpful, but the device still fails to work. I would love to see the old models return or an alternative. Thank you for considering.
